What Is the Tesla Cybertruck Referral Program?
Tesla’s referral program lets existing Tesla owners share a unique code with new buyers. When you use a referral code during your Cybertruck purchase, both parties benefit. As of 2026, Cybertruck buyers using a referral code receive 3 months of free Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised — worth approximately $297 at the current $99/month subscription rate.
Important note: Referral benefits apply to the Cybertruck Premium AWD ($79,990+) and Cyberbeast ($99,990+) trims only. The Dual Motor base model is excluded from the referral program. Visit TeslaRefCodes.com to get a verified referral code before ordering.
How to Apply a Referral Code to Your Cybertruck Order
The process is straightforward but timing-critical — you must start your order from the referral link. Here’s the step-by-step:
- Open a verified referral link from TeslaRefCodes.com
- Visit tesla.com and configure your Cybertruck (Premium AWD or Cyberbeast)
- Continue to checkout in the same browser session (there is no referral code field)
- Check that the referral landing page showed the FSD (Supervised) reward before you configured
- Complete your order — FSD trial activates upon delivery
You cannot add a referral code after the order is placed, so don’t skip this step.
Cybertruck Pricing Breakdown 2026

- Dual Motor AWD: $79,990 — 318 miles range, 0-60 in 4.1s (no buyer referral benefit; loyalty benefit only)
- Premium AWD: $79,990+ — enhanced features, referral eligible
- Cyberbeast: $99,990 — 301 miles range, 0-60 in 2.6s, referral eligible

Stacking Cybertruck Discounts
Beyond the referral code, Cybertruck buyers can potentially stack additional savings:
- Quarter-end inventory deals — Tesla may discount in-stock Cybertrucks during delivery pushes (March, June, September, December)
- Trade-in value — Tesla offers competitive trade-in quotes; compare with Carvana and CarMax
- State incentives — Some states offer EV rebates regardless of vehicle price. Check your state’s program
- Insurance savings — Tesla’s in-house insurance can save Cybertruck owners significantly vs. traditional insurers
For the full breakdown of stackable discounts, see the Tesla discount stacking guide.
Cybertruck vs. Other Electric Trucks
The Cybertruck faces competition from the Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, and Chevrolet Silverado EV. Key Cybertruck advantages include Tesla’s Supercharger network (15,000+ locations), over-the-air software updates, and the FSD capability. The referral program’s free FSD trial lets you experience autonomous driving features before committing to a subscription.
